Val joined Prime Buchholz in 2007 and is responsible for client/business development initiatives and communications.  She has been involved in the financial and investment industries since 1990.  Prior to joining the Firm, Val was the Director of Marketing for AARP Financial, a subsidiary of the nation’s largest non-partisan nonprofit association, where she helped launch a family of lifestyle mutual funds.  Previously, she served as Vice President of Marketing for Citizens Advisers, Inc., a socially responsible investment management firm.  Val also served as Managing Director for online investor communications firm NewRiver, Inc.; Vice President for the Investment Advisor Group at Fidelity Investments; and Senior Vice President for Allmerica Financial Institutional Services, where she directed development efforts across multiple product lines and distribution channels.  She is co-president of a non-profit women’s organization is Boston and member of the Board of Directors for the Diversity Workforce Coalition.  Val holds an M.B.A. from Anna Maria College and a B.A. in Public Relations, with distinction, from Purdue University.
